Born in upstate New York, and raised in Rome, Italy, Mary Anna is fluent in Italian. Growing up in Italy imparted her with a love of language, history, art, and the classics. After graduating high school she returned to the United States for university and has a B.A. in Drama.
She has studied at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford and the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. When she is not with her family or acting she has a passion for singing, art, and yoga. She adores great writing, and will read anything she can get her hands on that fits that bill. She is an empathic storyteller who brings passion, professionalism, and creativity to all her endeavors and is focused on generating artistic partnerships that will lead to innovative and fulfilling work. She is fascinated by the intersection of language and visual media to tell authentic stories that unmask the soul and reveal the heart to move and inspire audiences. During the pandemic she has been utilizing her colonial American era skills to hand-sew face masks, give haircuts and take care of sourdough starter to bake bread from scratch. |
